The introduction of the Extended Producer Responsibility Principle is about to revolutionize the textile and fashion sector, introducing new obligations for manufacturers of footwear, clothing, clothing accessories and home textile products.
Consorzio ERP Italia Tessile, the first Italian, non-profit Consortium for the recycling of textile waste (RITES) that can support the subjects who will be involved in the preparation process for the release of the Extended Producer Responsibility Decree (EPR) will be present at the international event Torino Sport & Fashion Match 2024 with the aim of illustrating the regulatory scenario, both in Italy and abroad, and the new environmental compliance obligations.
The event, which will take place from 29 June to 1 July 2024 in conjunction with the Turin Fashion Week 2024, will involve innovative brands, manufacturing companies, distributors, fashion stores, suppliers for the fashion and sports textile sector from all over the world, interested in discovering new trends and innovative solutions in the sector and represents an opportunity to develop new partnerships in the textile-fashion-sport supply chain involving international players.
The experts of the international ERP-Landbell group will also participate in the TALK DAY, organized on 1 July 2024, during which an overview of the current regulatory scenario will be provided at both national and European level.
