Consorzio ERP Italia Tessile

The first Italian, non-profit Consortium, with ministerial statute and regulation, for the recycling of textile waste with an authentically European scope which will support the manufacturers of footwear, clothing, clothing accessories and home textile products in the process of preparing for the exit of the Decree on Extended Producer Responsibility.

The new regulations on sustainability and recycling will involve all Producers, Retailers, Importers, Distributors, E-commerce and Marketplaces in the fashion sector who will have to take charge of financing, organizing collection, starting preparation for reuse, recycling and recovery of waste deriving from textile products according to the Principle of Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR).

Our project is an innovative idea from EPR which aims to support all companies involved in the management of environmental regulatory compliance obligations, both in Italy and abroad, managing the collection and recycling of textile waste to transform it into new secondary raw material, creating a sustainable and concrete circular economy also in the world of fashion.

Being part of a global group spread across 18 countries with 41 Collective Collection Systems, allows the Consortium to play a crucial role in making the sector more sustainable and the companies involved will therefore be able, once the directive comes into force, to make use of a single interlocutor who supports them both in Italy and abroad, simplifying the management of compliance with this new Directive, therefore benefiting from savings and efficiencies.
